Project Types

 Full individual life story:

3 to 10 sessions. This is a history of your life from birth to the present. It may include 2 sidebars and 5 photographs at no extra charge.

Memoir:

1 to 3 sessions. This is a history of one event, such as your marriage or the story of your parent’s immigration, or some other important event in your life. May include 3 photos.

Slice of Life:

½ to 1 session. This is usually done as a gift for someone. Perhaps the story behind a child’s birth or remembrances of a wedding or favorite ancestor. May include one photo.

Family History:

The number of sessions and price estimate depends on the extent of research already completed by the individual. An extensive history of your life, including genealogical research. May include up to 5 sidebars, 2 maps, 4 family charts, and 10 photographs at no extra charge. Estimated price: Varies.

Company/Organization:

The number of sessions and price estimate depends on the extent of research already completed by the organization.

 * Sidebars are side-notes on such things as the history of your hometown, historical research on news and events, explanations of technical aspects, etc.

 All clients will be required to read and sign a confidentiality agreement.

 The act of recording one’s memoirs is intensely personal. At the same time, the recording of such personal memoirs provides future historians with a wealth of information concerning societal and cultural mores and norms. Each client is given the opportunity to choose whether such academic professionals will preserve their stories for future access. The client has the right to request that all materials used in the acquisition and preparation of their memoirs be returned to them and/or destroyed after the final product is returned to them.
