The Hamilton clan gathered together in Chiefland, FL to celebrate Connie Hamilton's 70th birthday with a surprise party on June 22, 2002.

While the family gathered at a hall in Trenton, FL, Connie was told by her daughter, Teena that there was a bake sale they were going to. When she arrived at the hall she found all of her children, grandchildren, great-children, nieces and nephews, and other family members yelling SURPISE! She threw her hands over her face and rushed to hug everyone. There was not a dry eye in the house!
